Surrounded by nature and thoughtfully designed for comfort, creativity, and relaxation, this secluded escape is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or anyone craving a deep breath of fresh mountain air. Inside, the open-concept studio features a luxurious king-size bed with soft, hotel-quality linens, a cozy sitting area, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Whether you’re cooking a romantic dinner or simply enjoying a quiet morning coffee, the space is set up to feel like home—only better. The modern bathroom offers spa-like touches, including a rainfall showerhead and a heated towel rack. Every detail has been carefully considered to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. Step outside onto your private multi-level deck, where the amenities truly shine. Soak in the hot tub under the stars, relax in the barrel sauna, fire up the grill for dinner, or gather around the fire pit with a glass of wine. Whether it's adventure or stillness you seek, this space allows for both. In addition to the main cabin, guests have access to a separate studio space—a bright, open area perfect for yoga, meditation, writing, or painting. We have mats provided, some sketching materials, and a relaxing space to get your creativity flowing - or bring what you wish and make this space your own. As part of a designated Dark Sky Community, this property offers breathtaking views of the night sky with minimal light pollution. After sunset, look up—you’ll be treated to an amazing display of stars that feels truly otherworldly. It’s the perfect end to a perfect day in the woods. Located near hiking, wildlife, and stargazing opportunities, this is a true Colorado hideaway built for rest, creativity, and connection with nature and yourself.
Other Details to Note
We do NOT accept check in or check out on holidays. Absolutely NO open fires are allowed. The risk of wildfire in the area is too high. The gas firepit is available when there is no fire ban. If there is a fire ban, the firepit will be removed. You will be asked to leave immediately if there is any fire activity. The roads require AWD or 4WD for November through April (however it can snow in October and in May!). The roads are plowed after 6 inches of snow. You do not need a 4WD or AWD in the summer but be aware that the dirt roads in the neighborhood are bumpy! Pets This is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify. At this time we only allow dogs at this house. Please message us before booking for our pup policy to see if your dogs qualify. There is an additional fee for bringing a pet to cover the cleaners’ extra time to keep the space fresh for future guests. A/C There is no air conditioning unit here. It is very rare in our county to have one installed in a house (even brand new builds!). The nights are cool in the summer so to cool the cabin off you can open all the windows and doors at night, then close them during the day and you stay cool! There are fans provided to help blow the cool air through the cabin. Elevation We are at 9,000 feet in elevation — altitude sickness can occur but you can do things to prevent it and alleviate symptoms including, taking a day to rest when you arrive, drink extra water and stay well hydrated (avoiding alcohol will help). Surrounding Area When you are on the back deck it feels very secluded but from the front deck, you can see the neighbors. It is a quiet and peaceful area.

You’ll have access to the entire cabin and surrounding woods to explore. The studio that you will see on your right as you walk in, hammocks and a fire pit.
