Other Details to Note

Important (Please Read)! Wildfire Danger: No outdoor fires are allowed – the risk of wildfire in the area is too high. We must do our part to preserve the forest and protect the homes of year-round residents in our neighborhood. Pets: Our dogs are our family, and they need a vacation too! Of our $100 pet fee, $50 goes to our cleaner to ensure that the next guest can have a hair-free, mess-free stay, and $50 is banked for pet-related damage/repairs to the property. We’ll provide your pup(s) with a towel and a throw blanket – please use these to help protect the furniture. Holidays: We do not accept check-in or check-out on holidays. Travel: The roads require AWD or 4WD for November through April (though it can snow in October and in May!) The roads are plowed after 6 inches of snow. The dirt roads in our neighborhood will be bumpy year-round! Altitude: Our elevation is 8,900 feet – to help prevent altitude sickness, stay well-hydrated! The tap water is delicious and safe to drink. Please consider wearing sunscreen even when it appears cool or cloudy. Weather/Cancellations: We cannot predict or control weather, so we don't offer refunds due to inclement weather. Please keep this in mind when booking, and if this is a concern we recommend purchasing travel insurance (Airbnb provides this option while booking your stay). Other Notes: The cabin is not air conditioned, but thankfully you are in the Rocky Mountains! In the summer, you’ll cool the cabin by opening the windows and turning on the ceiling fan in the evening! We provide portable fans to circulate air throughout the cabin. The spiral staircase is narrow and can be challenging with a large suitcase – you can keep your luggage on the main level if desired! If you have children, please be extra-careful around the staircase – it is tempting to use it as a play gym, but that can be very dangerous. When outdoors, please be mindful of your noise – other homes are sprinkled throughout the woods, and we strive to be courteous neighbors.

This was the best stay and experience I have ever had using this platform. Everything was as shown, clean, and beautiful. Check in was super easy, everything was clean and tidy when we got there. Great amenities, had a bunch to cook with, gave you shoes and towels to the hot tub, provided fire wood for the wood burning stove, also they let you take a plant home! The host was very responsive and friendly! Everything was cozy and made you feel very relaxed and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again, very wonderful experience. Also I believe the price is very reasonable, you get what you paid for and more! If you’re looking for a relaxing trip, this is it!

What an amazing house and location. The views from the hot tub were worth the price of admission. The house was cozy and it felt like I was away from society. It was perfect.

The Indigo A Frame is EXACTLY what my girlfriend and I were looking for when we decided we wanted to spend a week in the mountains. What made it even better was the fact that it was dog friendly so our Aussie, Jerry could go with us. It is private and secluded enough and has a trail around the property to hike. We got snow the last night/throughout the morning we were leaving. We will be rebooking and we thank Marlena and team for a great week stay in the mountains.

Stayed here for a few days to get away from it all and it was PERFECT. A beautiful A frame secluded but near enough to everything in case you wanted to explore or needed something. Marlena’s place was just adorable and cozy. We made good use out of the hot tub and kitchen (that literally had everything you needed to cook up a nice meal). I really appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into stocking and designing this place. Will definitely be back!!
