Nestled in a quiet aspen forest, the modern a-frame features sleek architecture with large floor-to-ceiling windows that invite natural light and stunning forest views. Walk into the newly renovated chalet and experience instant tranquility. A spacious front porch invites you in. Inside, a cozy living room with a leather couch, a bar table, games, and a 65" smart TV awaits. The fully stocked kitchen features cooking essentials and a waffle maker. Outside, the back porch offers chairs, a fire pit, and a grill, with no other homes in sight, allowing for complete relaxation. The bathroom, newly designed with a large shower head and provided toiletries, is located on the lower level. Up in the loft bedroom, a memory foam queen bed and room darkening shades promise restful sleep. This cabin, with its fresh, modern design, has been renovated with your comfort in mind.
Other Details to Note
There is no air conditioning unit here. It is very rare in our county to have one installed in a house (even brand-new builds!). The nights are cool in the summer so to cool the house off you can open all the windows and doors, then close them during the day and you stay nice and cool! There are fans provided to help blow the cool air through the cabin. We are at 9,200 feet in elevation — altitude sickness can occur but you can do things to prevent it and alleviate symptoms including: Taking a day to rest when you arrive. Drink extra water and stay well hydrated (avoiding alcohol will help). (The tap water is from natural spring water and is delicious and safe to drink.) Wear sunscreen, even when it is cool or cloudy. The staircase is narrow and it can be challenging to cart large luggage up and down. We often keep our luggage on the main level. If you have children, please be extra careful around the staircase (it’s tempting to use it as a play gym, but can be very dangerous). This house is in a neighborhood. While it feels secluded we do have neighbors through the woods. Please be mindful of your noise.
